At the end of the month, as every year, we will drive to Lucca city for the biggest comics and games exhibition here in Italy.
It usually goes on for 3 or 4 days depending on the day of the week Noveber the 1 happens to fall (because it is vacation).
But back to the topic.
For my cosplay (not going to reveal it yet ), i needed yellow socks, but i wasnt ablet to find the yellow i needed or the right length of the socks, so i decide to do it by my self.
Initially i wanted to buy that stuff you use with the washin machines to color clothes, but I couldn't find the right color neither.
So after googling a bit i found out how to self made colors ti dye clothes in yellow with "green" product!
Here what you need:
- Water
- Salt
- White vinegar
- saffron
What to do:
Dunk the sock into the vinegar and let them there for 2 hours
When the time has passed, place the saffron in a pot with water and lot lot lot of salt, and put the on fire until it boils
At that point turn off the fire and place the clothes inside the yellow water, it must stays for many hours so leave it for the whole night.
As you can see it is already yellow.
The day after wash them (alone cause they leave lot of colors)
and your new clothes will be ready!
As you can see the color is not uniform, better to do more experiment!
They are good enough for what i need.
So try to guess, what cosplay i'm going to do?
